Been coming to Sun Salon since 1994 and was still in high school. I moved several times and tried to find another salon that is closer that can do my haircut but I keep coming back to Sun Salon as I don't trust anybody else cutting my hair but Ester. Over the years, she has cut my kids hairs and my wife. I now live in the suburb about an hour away but I still make the trip to Sun Salon for my 5 minute haircut. What can I say, she's the best for me and my fam.

Esther is super nice and a great hair stylist. She gave me a great haircut for a great price and even gave me a small packet of korean coffee to try at home! Highly recommend!

Esther has been cutting my hair since I was a bleach and funky color addicted teen. It’s safe to say she’s been through all my hair stages with me, lol. She is amazing! Esther is quick, polite and always gets it right every time. She now cuts my children’s hair, that’s how long I’ve been going . I travel to her now that I’ve moved out of the neighborhood because she is worth it. I’ll continue to go until she retires ! Give her a chance! Very affordable and you’ll love your hair.

Esther is very friendly and knows what she's doing. She held very warm and professional conversation. She asked questions and offered suggestions which I really appreciated. I told her I needed help putting my thoughts into words about my hair and she delivered! Highly recommend!

esther was kind, genuine, and knew exactly what to do with my hair. most hair salons are nerve wracking places for me but she is a natural conversationalist and i was put at ease quickly. fast cut without feeling rushed or like i wasn’t being listened to — you can get your hair fixed here and get back to your day

I went to Esther at my mom's recommendation, and I couldn't have had a better and more efficient experience. Seriously - she got me in and out of the chair in 15 minutes. I loveee this haircut will be making this my go-to salon in the area!!

Esther is warm and kind, and worked with me to come up with a cut for my hair. I had a mullet I was growing out, and knew I wanted to have long hair eventually, but needed it evened up and shaped in the meantime. Esther gave me a cute cut for a starting point and we talked about what to do at future stages of growth. Then she sent me home with Korean tea and a snack!

I moved into the city and was nervous to find someone who knows how to cut my hair well. I was recommended to see Esther by a co-worker a little over a year ago. Since then, I’ve been going to her for monthly haircuts and the occasional “soft” perm. My first perm was with her and I could not have been more satisfied with the result. Esther is an attentive listener and gave me all that I was looking for in a perm. She is highly skilled in her craft and so I have been recommending her to all my friends and family—who are also very happy with the haircuts and perms she has given them.
